Parallelizable Power Convert Unit
Parallelizable Power Convert Unit (PGÇÜ)
Parallelizable Power Convert Unit; It is a unit that converts the 115 VAC / three-phase voltage produced in the aircraft in accordance with military aviation standards, to 28VDC voltage, which is the supply of the subsystems of the aircraft, with high efficiency. In cases where more output power is needed in a product with an output power of 2.5 kW, it is possible to increase the power capacity by running identical products in parallel. High-identity load sharing is made between units connected in parallel.
Each unit in the system created with parallel connected units brings along systemic advantages such as load sharing and working with phase difference. The minimum efficiency of the Parallelizable Power Convert Unit is %85. There is no fan in the converters, cooling is provided by transmission. The unit can also work with an input voltage of 270 VDC, except for a 3-Phase AC voltage.
